Really? Why? Not sure. Again? Nope. Never.

That is the conversation I had with myself this week.
I accepted to run with some cute moms of our ward and do a half marathon......
earlier the week started out with a trip to the long beach aquarium which was a blast. Carly slept the whole time, she just got her shots, but we had a blast.
she is 90% in height and 75% in weight
our little rollie pollie.

then i got sick on wednesday. garlic?? what is wrong with me that I can't eat garlic anymore, it made me sick for two days. and then the big run came on saturday. I was fine until I stopped running and then I couldn't move and i spent the rest of the day next to my bathroom. gross.

after that momentous occasion, the run, not the bathroom....I have decided to never do that to my body again. 2-5 miles, okay, but really, 13.1 miles? no, i love my GI tract way to much to put it through that again. me and the GI have never been so happy...until that fateful day along the long beach marina. needless to say, my parents came and cheered me on and grandma rosell watched C so I could do it.

but the week ended with me recovering and turning the big 29. i'm old, I still feel like I should be 16 and invincible. i have to say that i really enjoyed my birthday. i got a long nap, a great meal, and was loved and surrounded by all my family...minus a few.....you know who you are slackers! jk.

now, back to work I go.
i'm going to cry so hard next sunday when i have to open that laptop.
