What Happened to September?

After our fun trip to Arizona to visit with Johnny's cousins, my cousins, and my friend Cades, reality set in that it was going to be a busy month and with that September is gone!

We had some great few weeks in there though. We found out in August that we are having a girl, which I really convinced myself that I was having a boy so after the second confirmation that it was a girl, I went shopping. Luckily, Johnny put a stop to that real fast and told me no more baby stuff so I'm going cold turkey for...about 1 week now. I spent most of my weeks buried in work and traveling to Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco. I came home one night with feet that were spilling out of my flips flops and I couldn't bend my toes. I now have my ankles back but I assume that the feet will have to go up continuously to keep that from happening. Johnny and I felt the baby kick for the very first time and Johnny actually felt it too.....since then she is shy and doesn't kick as much for anyone but me. Its such a great feeling to know she is moving around and growing well. I finally popped out! My sister had told me to send her photos of my belly so I did and she said, I don't see it, but I think she will see it in these! No avoiding it now and I'm learning that lying on my back on the floor is no longer an option. I never thought I would complain about my pelvis hurting! ha - I have a lot to learn.

Johnny has been working like crazy as well and still manages to find some time to surf and hang out with his freedom fighters. He gave up Dr. Pepper for about 3 whole days and snuck a sip at Rubios while no one was looking, then admitted to it. At least he knows he has a problem ;) He's too funny.

Bentley is still Bentley. She will play ball all day long and people keep asking me how she will handle sharing us with the baby. I personally think she will love love the baby and anyone who has come over with their baby and played with my dog I think will share my same opinion. She'll need to learn personal space for sure. She can smother them in kisses.

Welcome October! Conference, Halloween, cooler weather, lots of walks, welcome little Ryker :), tv (i'm still a die hard biggest loser fan and love this season way more than last).

Okay you're so freakin' cute! How come I didn't even know you were prego!?! When is your due date? Congrats on the little girl...she will be adorable. Don't worry, I was set on having a girl and it was a boy--so much for motherly intuition! :) We have a puppy (Bentley is probably far better behaved than our little one) and she is so great with babies. Yes she smothers him with kisses but he loves it! My doc said don't be afraid to set him on the floor with your puppy, it will surprise you and since then we have not even hesitated! So excited for you guys! Glad all is well!
